Donovan Howard Fallows

July 2nd, 1924 --- February 18, 2010


Donovan Fallows is a native son of North Vancouver, BC.

He passed peacefully from this world and went to be with his Lord on the morning of February 18th, 2010.

Don is survived by Barbara (nee Shepherd), his loving wife of 55 years and by his daughter Bara (Richard). He is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, father Howard and his sisters Peggy, Pat, Maureen and Shelagh.

Don loved painting, trains, trees, cricket, horses, astronomy, ham radio and camping. He served in the British Army in WW2. He and Barbara lived in many places including the UK, New Zealand, and several cities in Canada before retiring to Ladysmith. He was active in the church and started the first Easter Sunrise Service at Transfer Beach.

He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends in Ladysmith and beyond.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Lodge on 4th for their kind and loving care of Donovan during the past five years. We also deeply appreciate and thank the many friends who supported the family during Don's final days.

A memorial service will be held at:

The Ladysmith Fellowship Baptist Church
