In loving memory ~
Do was born in Winnipeg to Dorothy and Charles (Peter & Chum), the youngest of three daughters. The family moved to Vancouver, and Do grew up in Shaughnessy, attending Magee and Prince of Wales.
Do loved figure skating, and along with her sister Betsy toured the province as the Fripp Sisters skating pair during their teens. Do was married to Crosby Collins (1953-1970) and the love of her life, Vic Forster from 1974 until his death from Parkinson's in 2019. Ahead of her time, Do broke the glass ceiling becoming an entrepreneur in the 1970s. She and Vic loved to dance, travel, and spend time with friends. They moved to Ladysmith, building their Treasure House Bed & Breakfast, making many new friends and happy memories.
Predeceased by sisters Diana Culver and Betsy St. Louis, Dorothy is survived by her daughter Andrea Mullin, grandchildren Bailey, Clare, and Zach, stepson Victor, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Ladysmith First United Church on Saturday, May 31 at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or Parkinson Canada.
