A resident of LaRosa Seniors Home passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2006 at age 82. He is survived and will be dearly missed by his family, daughter Lynda Sandberg and husband Larry of Port Hardy; grandchildren: Larry (Allison) Sandberg Jr., Leon D. (Lisa) Sandberg, Lorne A.(Brandi) Sandberg and Lance Sandberg. Great grandchildren Riley Sandberg, Brenden Sandberg, Britney Sandberg and Hannah Sandberg. Funeral services were held from the Chapel of Comox Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1101 Ryan Road on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Ray Brandon officiating.
Interment will take place at Courtenay Civic Cemetery, with fellowship and refreshments following in “The Garden Room” of the Funeral Home.
