August 4, 1927 - January 15, 2019
Erik was born in Denmark, at home, the youngest of ten children to Gunnar and Karen Jensen, all of whom have predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his first wife Evelyn. He is survived by his beloved wife Winie, step children Gord Bull (Michelle) in Squamish, Christine Brassington, Dianna Madsen (David) in Nanaimo and their children. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Denmark.

He immigrated to Canada in 1952, knowing two English words, "yes" and "no". He was a very hard worker and was quite proud of the fact that he was never without a job. He retired from the mill in Youbou after a thirty year career. He was later well know in the Ladysmith area delivering local papers . . . He may not have remembered your name, but he knew your house number!

Erik fell asleep in death at the Lodge on Fourth, his home for the last eight months, where he was lovingly cared for.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1724 Vowels Road, Cassidy, B.C. on January 26, at 1:30 pm.
