Born in Denmark on August 13, 1922.
Erik passed away peacefully in his home with his family at his bedside on Wednesday, March 22, 2006. He will be lovingly missed by his daughter Marianne, son-in-law Kelly, grandson Sean and his wife Marissa and his granddaugther Melisa. He will also be remembered by his family in Denmark. He will join his wife Elly in heaven.
Erik lived a full and rich life in many parts of the world before retiring on Vancouver Island. He was an active founding member of the Danish Canadian Club and will be dearly remembered by his many friends near and far. A visitation will be held at Mount Bensen Funeral Chapel, 125 Wallace Street, Nanaimo on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 5:00 pm.
A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm.
