passed away peacefully at her home on May 25, 2004.
Born in London, England on April 28, 1922.
Eunice was predeceased by her loving husband Howard in 1985, her oldest brother Edmund (Teddy) in 1998 and her parents Edmond and Rosina.
Eunice was an English war bride and with her husband and son came to Canada in 1953 and settled in Shawnigan Lake where she remained all her life. Eunice had one thing that she adhered to all her life, and that was her family; she was unswerving in her love, loyalty and protection of them; her devotion was complete and she will be missed as we try to fill the hole left by her passing. Eunice is survived by her sons Alan Edkins (Karen); grandsons Michael and Kevin (Tara); great grandchildren Jacob, Crystal, Kayley, Jackson and Austin; also brother Eric of London, England. This to you Mom from your son: “Thanks for the privilege of being born your son and leaving me with the lessons of honesty, hard work, trust, loyalty and devotion to family and I have passed them on to further generations; goodbye and I know God will bless you and that Howard was waiting for you as you slipped the bonds of this earthly realm”. Alan
