Passed away peacefully after a long illness on February 6, 2002 at the age of 82.
Evelyn is survived by Harris her loving husband of 60 years, her son Ronald and her daughter Lynda (Peter) Gamble.
Evelyn is also survived by her four grandchildren: Sherri, Kevin, Thomas, Richard and her loving nieces and nephews. We will remember Evelyn as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was a homemaker, hostess and friend, touching many lives through the years with her generosity of spirit.
A memorial service for Evelyn was held on Monday, February 11, 2002 at 2:00 pm at Sands Funeral Chapel, One Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Evelyn’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC. Sands - Nanaimo.
