Frederick Newton,
Born December 9, 1916 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away in Langley, B.C. on July 12, 2003. Fred was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy on April 15, 2003. He is survived by daughters, Lynda Lee (Steve) Chenoweth, Margo (David) Harrison; three grandchildren, Kim, Scott & Adrienne; eight great-grandchildren and four nieces. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and the many projects he undertook with his hands. Fred loved to golf and curl and was a member of Mount Brenton Golf Club. He also served with the Royal Canadian Airforce from 1942 to 1945. For those desiring, donations in Fred’s memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
