Passed away suddenly on June 6, 2004 in his 81st year.
Fred’s daughter Kathy passed away less than 24 hours later.
Dearly loved by Audrey, wife of 58 years and daughters Linda (Tim), Donna, Kathy and Susan. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tammy (Donald), Brent (Lisa), Leanne (Steve), Cindy (Lee), Kevin, Gary, Lisa and Tina and great-grandchildren Brianna, Taylor, Cassidy, Carlee, Drayden and Keaton. Sister June Guille, neices: Valerie & Joann, nephews: Michael & Paul.
Fred served with the Seaforth Highlanders and took part in the invasion of Sicily, Italy, Belgium, Holland, France and Germany. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and a native son of Ladysmith. He worked in the logging industry for 46 years.
By Fred’s request, there will be no service. A family gathering will be held at his home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the BC Lung Association in Fred’s name would be appreciated.
