Passed away peacefully in Nanaimo Hospital on June 22, 2003. Born in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Feb-ruary 17, 1957. Pre-deceased by her father Adolph Skawski. Survived by her loving husband Brian, daughters; Catherine (Morris), Elizabeth, Diana and granddaughter Amelia. Also by her mother Mary, sisters; Jane (Ed), Denise (Harry), Heather (Ted), Eva (Dale), Gay (Amy), brothers: Daniel, Glen (Candice), Rocky (Meischelle). Genvie’s depth of character and the number of lives she has enriched during the time with us is limitless and she will be missed greatly, but always remembered. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tour De Rock, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrange-ments confidently assign-ed to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services, Ladysmith.
