JOHNSON, George Francis passed away peacefully at his home in Ladysmith, BC on March 23, 2007. Born in Victoria, BC January 3, 1935. George first worked at Dalby's garage, and then Crown Zellerbach and retired from Timberwest in 2000. His passions were: gardening, fishing, his workshop and loved his camping trips to Sointula.
survived by his loving wife Marilyn, of 48 years, children: Derrick, Glenda, Laurie (Steve) Morgan, Chris (Paul), his mother Margaret Wilkinson, grandchildren: Sydney, Samantha, Joshua, Paige, and Drew, also his sister Pat Meadows and nieces and nephews. A memorial tea will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm in St. Mary's Church Hall, Ladysmith, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetic Association or to the Heart Fund would be appreciated.
