George Gettell

George Gettell (Gettle) passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 5, 2017 at Nanaimo Seniors Village.
He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 4, 1917. George was predeceased by his sons, Gerry and Paul and is survived by his daughter Yvonne (Les) Jones; four grandchildren Walt, Ronald, Tammy, and Mike; and one great-grandson Reg.
George celebrated his 100th birthday with his family and friends at Nanaimo Seniors Village. He was a WWII veteran that served in Regina, Saskatchewan.
He will be missed.
