suddenly in Ladysmith, BC on February 10, 2006, born in Stolos, Greece on November 28, 1953. George was a well known restraunteur in the Nanaimo/Ladysmith area.
Predeceased by his parents Grigorios and Eleni (nee Panteles) Rounis.
Survived by his loving wife Maria, son Greg, daughters Eleni and Voula, brothers Ted, Chris and Tassos.
Prayers were held Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 7:00 pm in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4th Avenue, Ladysmith, BC.
Funeral in the Greek Rite, Monday, February 13, 2006 at 1:00 pm in St. Mary’s Catholic Church followed by interment in Ladysmith Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated.
