CORBIN, Harold “HK”

Marched Home on May 25, 2007 in Victoria, BC. Born May 23, 1940 in Victoria. Predeceased by his parents William and Peggy Corbin, and brother Jack. Lovingly remembered by his daughters: Connie (Gary) Kirkham and Chrystyne (Dan) Virtanen, sister Yvonne (Bob) Peterson and grandchildren: Dakota, Jennifer, Antonio, Jonathon, Ryan and Aidan, long life friends Terry and Jean Higgins and Linsey and Gary Morden and extended family members. Harry was an RN for more than 30 years. As a young man he proudly served his country in the military and spent many years with the Victoria Scottish Regiment. Harold was a member of RCL #171 Ladysmith, and a volunteer with the Ladysmith Hospital Auxiliary. He always enjoyed his family and friends, in many adventures: camping, traveling and especially spending time with his grandchildren who will always remember him as “Beans”. He loved the Holidays, and was a collector of “everything”, a crafter and everyone’s Dad. His patience, warm smile and bear hugs will be sadly missed by us all. A celebration of Harold’s life will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #171, Ladysmith, BC. Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services 1-866-503-5553.
