Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Prince George hospital, January 1, 2002 after a battle with cancer. Born in Viking, Alberta in 1927, Helen & family moved to Cedar in 1937. Helen went on to teach & travel and in 1957 moved to Prince George where she married Georg Jorgensen.
Unfortunately Georg was killed in a logging accident in 1966 - leaving a son Ken & a daughter Christence.
Helen returned to teaching and was very active in Prince George community and church.
She is survived by 2 brothers & 2 sisters and three grandchildren; many neices and nephews. She will be dearly missed by so many friends and neighbours.
A celebration of her life was held at St. Michaels & All Angels Anglican Church in Prince George on Saturday, January 5, 2002.
