Passed away peacefully at his home in Ladysmith, BC on January 13, 2007. Born in the Netherlands, October 13, 1916. He immigrated to Canada in 1952 and worked and retired from Crown Zellerbach in 1982. His passion was racing pigeons and gardening. Survived by his loving wife of 49 years Hetty, son Frank (Barb), daughter Nancy (Dan) Hunter, grandchildren: Crysta, Janelle, Garrett and Jessica, sisters: Toos, Naan and Annie, also nieces and nephews. An open house will be held at 525 Wilrose Place, Ladysmith, on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
