HENRY “Hank” VOTH passed away peacefully on July 25, 2016. Hank was born on August 28, 1933 in Rivers, Manitoba to Abram & Margreta Voth and spent his life in British Columbia. His job took him all over BC, from Williams Lake to Invermere to Vancouver Island, where in 1968 he settled his family. Hank could build or fix almost anything. Hank enjoyed camping and water skiing. He would spend hours teaching water skiing and running the boat for all to enjoy. When Hank retired, he & Rose spent many years traveling south in the winter with family. His greatest joy was his love for his family. Hank was a gentle giant with a huge heart. Hank joined Rotary in 1969 and had many great years serving the communities of Chemainus & Ladysmith. Hank was awarded a lifetime membership by Ladysmith Rotary Club. Five years ago, Hank & Rose moved to Kamloops into Riverbend Seniors Community, where they made many friends. These were wonderful years for Hank & Rose. There will be a Celebration of Life for Hank on August 28th, at 2 pm in the Dining room of Riverbend Seniors Community, 760 Mayfair Street, Kamloops, BC. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Hank’s name can be made to the Diabetes Foundation, to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or one of your choice.
