Passed away in Nanaimo. BC, on January 20, 2005, born in Brentwood Essex, England, September 20, 1916, former resident of Sidney, BC. Survived by her loving husband John, sons: Christopher (Margaret) and Simon (Fay), grandchildren: David (Tiffany), John (Becca), Andrew, Erin (Scott) and Matthew, great-grandchildren: Megan and Caitlin, sisters: Eileen, Dorothy and Evelyn, and brother Gordon, also nieces and nephews. Celebration of Irene’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 11:00 am in Telford’s Memorial Centre, 595 Townsite Rd., Nanaimo, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
