Ivy Jean
Born on August 2, 1915 in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan, passed away on November 16, 2003 at Chemainus Health Care Centre. Predeceased by her husband Frederick, sister Helen and daughter Judy.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Barbara, son-in-law Carman, and granddaughter Kimberly. She was very fond of, and will be missed by her extended family as well as many sincere friends. As a nurse of 40 years (30 at Ladysmith), Ivy touched and helped many people in the community. She had a great love for this community, where she had resided since her marriage in 1945.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2003 in the Ladysmith United Church, High Street, Ladysmith, B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivy’s name, to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. would be appreciated. Arrangements confidently assigned to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.
