In Victoria General Hospital on July 25, 2003 in the arms of his family, after an accident at his home in Crofton, BC. Born in Kamloops, BC on April 26, 1949. Survived by his loving wife Joanne, son Jan (Darla), daughter Jolie (Shawn) Jamison, grandchildren; Jessica, Nicole, Dayton and Logan, his mother May West, mother-in-law Emily Blatchford, brothers; Frank (Denice) and Michael (Pam), brothers-in-law; Rob (Barb), Kerry (Carol), Patrick (Debbie), and Tony (Nirm), sisters; Donna (Bill) and Trudy (Tom), and Jennine, sister-in-law Tami (Penny) and many nieces and nephews.
