Born June 7, 1941 as the eldest of 4 children of Arthur and Phyllis Richards of Cornwall, UK, passed away November 28, 2022 after a short illness.
Janice married Robert Davey of Cornwall, U.K. and they immigrated to Canada together in 1965. She spent 57 years with her husband and they raised 2 daughters Anita (Davey) and Lisanne (Mike) Poiron.
During her life she travelled to most parts of Canada and Ireland.
She became a versatile horse Mom and helped both her daughters with their many equestrian endeavours.
Janice was a loving grandmother to Elara and Logan Poiron. She actively participated and supported both her grandchildren in their various activities. She really enjoyed winter getaways with her family to Mexico and Maui.
Her favourite times were spent enjoying the laughter and company of friends and family around the fire on the deck with a glass (or "2") of wine surrounded by her flowering gardens.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will be fondly remembered as a smart, caring, generous lady who loved life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society be made.
