Janice Laureen Franz (nee Fair)
Born in Hazelton, BC on October 6, 1955, she passed away May 30, 2007 in Lacombe, AB. She is mourned by her husband Arthur, children Katia (Sam), Lindsay, and Adrian, parents Loyd and Irene Fair, and siblings Alan (Janice), Brent (Brenda), Connie (John), Colleen (Gerhard), Heather (Allan) and Brenda (Glenn) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service was held for Janice on June 5, 2007 in Lacombe.
Janice had a rare type of liver cancer. She had a positive and upbeat personality throughout her illness and always had a smile for everyone. She will be greatly missed.

God saw you were getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around you
and whispered: ”Come to me…”
With tearful eyes we watched
and saw you pass away.
Although we love you dearly,
we couldn’t make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands laid still.
We love you very much, and we always will.
