HOUSTON,
Jean Playfair
passed away peacefully in Chemainus, B.C. on November 4, 2003.
Born in Scotland January 15, 1917 to Charles and Janet Thomson.
Predeceased by her loving husband James, daughter Merilyn and brother Alex.
Survived by her daughter Carolyn (Larry) Woodruff, grandchildren: Lynda (Jim) Dyke, Sheri Delorme, Rick and Randy Boudot, Jamie (Sue) and Danny Banfield, great grandchildren: Shawn, Jeannine and Lanna Dyke, Lindsey, Joe and Kaitlin Delorme, also her sisters: Iris (Chuck) Densmore and Laura (Garf) McDonald.
Funeral Service was held Monday November 10, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in Telford’s Mortuary Chapel, followed by interment in the Ladysmith cemetery. Pastor Brian Nelson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund or the Chemainus Health Care Centre would be appreciated. Arrangements confidently assigned to Telford’s Mid-Island Memorial Services.
