passed away peacefully at her home in Ladysmith, BC on January 31, 2006.
Born in Cedar, BC, December 7, 1930. Joan was predeceased by husband Eddy, brother Ted Cassidy and sister Ann Cassidy.
Survived by her niece Kathi Regner of Union Bay, BC; great nephew Terry (Jen) Regner and great great nephew and niece Lance and Kaylee. She will also be missed by her many friends in Ladysmith.
A family interment service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Nanaimo City Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at the Ladysmith Eagle’s Hall at 1:00 pm. Donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the B.C. Heart and Stroke Fund.
