Suddenly in Ladysmith Hospital on March 5, 2005, born in Greenock, Scotland, October 1, 1919. Predeceased by his loving wife Betty, October 9, 1993. Survived by his daughters: Irene (Ted) Wealleans, Liz Stuart, Ellie (Ken) Dawson, Catherine (Terry) Wallace, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his sister Catherine Nicol and sister-in-law May Bowie, also nieces and nephews.
