John Philip HAMPSON

February 23, 2006

passed away on February 23, 2006 at the Nanaimo Travellers Lodge. Born October 3, 1924 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He grew up and farmed near Birch Hills, Sask., joining the R.C.A.F. in 1942 and was stationed in England during the War. In 1971, John relocated his family to Lantzville, joining the R.C.L. Branch #257. From his marriage with Dorothy, John is survived by his sons: Gary, Michael, David & Philip, and daughters: Lynn, Carol & Margaret, also grandchildren: John, Scott, Regina, Tim, Joel, Lindsay, Darren, Jessie and Raya, great-grandchildren: Joshua, Evan, Lea, Maximus and Destry.

The family would like to thank the staff of Nanaimo Travellers Lodge for their extraordinary care and support.

Memorial Service Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Branch #257 Lantzville.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Traveller’s Lodge, 1298 Nelson, St., Nanaimo, BC V9S 2K5 would be appreciated.
