Born in Winnipeg on July 18, 1962. Passed away July 25, 2005 in Nanaimo General Hospital after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Elan will be greatly missed by her husband Ross John McGinn, daughter Tara Simone McGinn and son Cole Stefan McGinn. Also her family and her many, many wonderful friends and students. Elan touched everybody she met, whether through her music or her genuine love of people.
She was greatly respected as a wife and mother, daughter, sister and friend as well as a music teacher.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Celebration of Life was held in the Ladysmith Royal Canadian Legion #171.
