His mother told him he was born on March 3rd, 1935 but his birth certificate reads March 4th 1935, so he celebrated the first two weeks in March.
He was the son of John L. Silvey and Laura G. Silvey and will be remembered by his wife Diana and his children and numerous grand and great grandchildren, 3 sisters, many nieces nephews and friends.
He may not been have book smarts but he had a wealth of knowledge in so many things fishing, logging, hunting and mechanics are just too name few. The main thing about him was that he loved his family fiercely.
He thought the world of his grandchildren and his great grandchildren. He used to say "take care of those kids I live for those kids." He will always be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
The Celebration honouring Ken's live will be held at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith, Saturday May 19th 2018 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
