Ken was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan. He was a loving husband, father, farmer, master tradesman, musician, avid fisherman and world’s greatest grandfather. Ken worked as a welder at Harmac for 21 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife Thelma of almost 58 years; 2 sons: David (Jen) and Donald (Melanie); 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Shirley, Dorothy, Helen, June and Gail, and 1 brother Garry.
A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held between 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday March 28, 2010 at the North Oyster Community Centre, 13467 Cedar Road, Ladysmith B.C.
Heartfelt thanks to all the nurses and staff at the Lodge on 4th for all their loving and compassionate care.
