HARPER, Kimberley Ellen

October 18, 1955 – November 24, 2013

Born in Saskatoon, SK. Survived by husband Dale Cain (of Ladysmith), mother Helen Oberg, father Ken Murray, siblings Michele, Mary, Mike, Kenny, Brenda (all of Saskatoon) and Heather (of Calgary); brother-in-law Walter Cain and sister-in-law Dorothy Bouchard; also beloved pets Blaze, Chicklet and Rebel. She loved her animals dearly and will be missed by them. She will also be missed by special friends Margarete and Pat Nixon, Joan and Mike Nicholson, Linda and Jim Anderson, as well as Doug Whitelaw and Larry Adair.

She worked at Black Press in Ladysmith for several years in the mailroom as a collator. She loved all animals, wildlife and nature full heartedly and would often feed the deer on her property. Kim also loved camping, going for a drive, her flower and vegetable garden, and her favourite flowers were lilies. She also loved angel figurines and statues.

Kim was very down-to-earth, loving, caring and thoughtful person. She routinely donated to the food bank and at Christmas would donate turkeys, she also donated generously to other organizations.

No service by Kim’s request. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a food bank of your choice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Kim’s memory.
