After a brief illness, Len?has left us to join Gloria,?his beloved wife of 51 years. Len was also predeceased by his parents Ira Harding and Catherine Shupe, Gloria’s parents Alfred and Marjorie Kerley, Len’s brother Howard Shupe and Gloria’s brothers Owen and Douglas Kerley.
Len is survived by his two daughters, Catherine (Dan) Hall of Victoria and Susan MacLean of Everett, Washington, three grandchilden Kailen (Susan) Olson, David (Andrea) Hall and Kimberley Hall, one great-granddaughter. Gloria Olson, his brother Harry (Beryl) Shupe, his brother-in-law Rick (Kelly) Kerley, his sisters-in-law Cathie Kerley and Lila Kerley and many nieces and nephews.
Len was fortunate to have lived most of his life in Ladysmith, making many wonderful friends. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Ladysmith General Hospital and especially Dr. Emmanuel Fritsch, Len’s physician and friend.
A Celebration of Len’s life?will be held at the Eagle’s?Hall, 921 First Ave., Ladysmith at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2007, with reception to follow.
