Age 92, passed away peacefully November 25th in Nanaimo.
Linnea was born August 13, 1911 in Ottawa, where she grew up as one of five siblings.
As a young woman, she pursued a career in scientific photography. A devoted mother, she raised two sons while living in Montreal and Seattle, Washington. Linnea resided in Ladysmith since 1976. The daughter of a botanist, she was a dedicated gardener for most of her adult life. Linnea is survived by sons John Walker and Peter Walker, both of Seattle, sisters Amra Gussow of Victoria, Elizabeth Grant of Chelsea, Quebec, and brother William Gussow of Ottawa. Linnea's warm and loving spirit will be missed by all who were touched by her. No services will be held. The family suggests remembrances be made to Eyesight International.
