Passed away peacefully at Ladysmith General Hospital on Thursday, July 4, 2002 in his 79th year. Born in Hundary, he immigrated to Canada with his family in 1956. His loving wife Aurelia (nee Kovesy) predeceased him in August of 1985 , Lloyd will be missed by his children, Maria and her husband Blair, Aurelia (living in New Zealand), Les and his wife Linda, Andrew and his wife Lynn, and his six grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle, Victoria, Ashley, Rita and Lee. Lloyd was a very talented individual and took great pleasure in his woodworking hobby. He was especially proud of being a founding member of the “millionaires club” - wherein he personally planted over a million seedlings, mostly on Vancouver Island in his thirty year career as forestry crew foreman with British Columbia Forest Products Ltd. Lloyd’s family extends a special thanks to the many loving and special caregivers at the Ladysmith Hospital. Thank you all. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the Heart and Stoke Foundation of BC or the Ladysmith General Hospital, Extended Care. As life is precious we also ask that you in some little way, remind someone of your love for them today and everyday.
