Predeceased by his mother Marjorie Modeste-Crocker 1975, sister Cathy Modeste 1984.
Survived by his father James, sister Lori-Ann Guerin, step-sister Tracy McSee, nephew Joseph Guerin, niece Margie Modeste and grand-niece Katerra Webster-Modeste, uncles: John and Jerome Crocker, aunts: Helen Guerin, Lorraine, Loretta, Margaret and Kathy Crocker and Jenny Sam. Also numerous cousins and supportive friends. Loren was a dedicated chef, and had a passion for Flaminco and Capawara dancing. He was employed by the sister’s of St. Ann’s at Queenswood. Prayers were held Thursday, December 2, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in Somena Longhouse Kitchen, Duncan, BC. Funeral was held Friday, December 3, 2004 at 9:00 a.m., followed by interment in the Penelakut Cemetery, Kuper Island, BC.
