It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Niece, Aunt, Friend, Lorna Pruett at age 72.
After a long battle with dementia, Lorna passed away at Trillium Lodge in Parksville, BC.
Predeceased by parents Shirley and Jim Brown. She is survived by daughters, Carrie Furness (Brian) and Stephanie Austin. Grandchildren, Brian, Cassey-Anne, Andrew, Raven, Skylar and River. Great granddaughter, Elle-Anne. Brother, Lyle Brown (Audrey) of Nanaimo, Sister, Leni Gardner of Ladysmith. Aunts, Pat LaFleur and Laurie Zona of Ladysmith and Zena Bruce of Victoria. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Lorna grew up in Ladysmith and spent her adult years in Nanaimo. She was known for being hard working, generous, creative and kind. She is lovingly remembered. There will be a celebration of Lorna's life in the spring.
