Born Mary Lorraine Williams March 21, 1921 in Cedar, BC. Died February 24, 2005 in Duncan, BC. “Sis” grew up with 5 brothers and sisters, in South Wellington. She taught school in Quatsino form 1939 to 1941 and married Art Green , a resident there, in 1942. She lived, taught, and raised a family in Chemainus from 1948 until now. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Art, 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, her brother Bob (Bev) Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 375 Brae Road, Duncan at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2005, followed by an informal gathering at the house afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
