Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 following a brief struggle with cancer.
Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on August 16, 1934, age 68 years.
Lovingly remembered by her family: husband of 49 years, Ken; children: Kenny, Laurie (Dean) Mitchell, Debbie (Tim) Osborne, Rose (Dave) Campbell, grandchildren: Darcy, Brent, Chantal, Crystal and Liam.
Predeceased by her parents Amedee and Florence Lemire.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Gail Lachmanec for her loving support and being at Lucille’s side throughout their 53 years of friendship. Also to the nurses and staff at the Cowichan District Hospital, especially Donna and Dorothy.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at the Chemainus Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made to the charity of ones choice.
