PEACE, Martha Frances
Passed away in Duncan, BC on May 3rd, 2009, age 78 years. Born in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan on July 25th, 1930. Predeceased by her husband Ralph in 1993. Survived by her sons; Jeff (Kathy) of Comox BC, Bob (Audrey) of Kamloops, BC, Dan (Allison) of Kelowna, BC; daughter, Kathy (Glen) Johnson of Manitoba; grandchildren, John, Jason, Shane, Greg, Michael and David; great grandchildren, Jayden and Tyler. Mrs. Peace was a resident of Ladysmith for over 20 years, a member of The Ladies Auxiliary F.O.E. 2010 and the Thrifty Store. Mrs. Peace was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched.
Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, on Friday, May 8th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Father Mel, celebrant. Cremation followed by internment in the Ladysmith Cemetery.
