Michael Willis, age 82, of Ladysmith, B.C, passed away on March 15th, 2023. He was born in Duncan, B.C. on March 23rd, 1940. Mike leaves behind Rosemary, his wife of 62 years; his 3 children: Tim, Tony, and Susan; and his 4 grandchildren: Grace, Lily, Jonas, and Romy.
Mike worked as a longshoreman, had a love of sports, crib, and gardening, and volunteered with various community clubs. He always enjoyed the parade during Ladysmith Days.
Thank you to the kind citizens of Ladysmith for the care and love of Mike.
The spreading of his ashes will take place at Cowichan Bay where he loved to fish, and Ladysmith Harbour where he loved to live.
