Milton was the third oldest of six children born to Pearl and Henry Smith in the Duncan Hospital.
Milton was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Howard.
He is survived by sisters Adele and Delores; brothers Lloyd and David; many nieces and nephews; and his loving wife of 64 years Bertha.
Milton liked his job as a logger (steel spar operator) and the crews he had worked with for many years.
Milton has requested no funeral service, a simple burial in the Ladysmith cemetery.
