Marjorie Moeskau
Marjorie Moeskau, 87 of Victoria, died peacefully at her home on May 3, 2016 surrounded by her family.
Marjorie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Knut Moeskau; her daughters Mary Ella (Doug) Gamblin of Victoria; Maureen (Francis) Fillion of Ottawa; Ingrid Moeskau of Vancouver and was predeceased by her son Keith Moeskau. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Marjorie resided in Victoria West for over 35 years where she raised her four children. In the early 1970’s she was instrumental in the campaign to raise funds to build both the elementary school and the community center. After retiring
from her nursing career in 1989, she relocated to Ladysmith where she took
great pride in her garden and flowers until finally returning to Victoria in 2012.
Marjorie will be dearly missed by her family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Cancer clinic and the Hospice and Palliative Care nurses for their exceptional care of Marjorie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hatley Memorial Gardens in early June
