Passed away suddenly in Duncan, BC on November 1, 2005. Born in Condon, Oregon, January 30, 1921. Murray graduated from UBC in 1950 with a B.A.Sc., and had a long career as a professional Engineer in pulp and paper. Murray enjoyed the performing arts, Probus group, curling, playing bridge, his time with scouting, the many hikes, opportunities to travel, and time spent on the water boating and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife Betty in 2000 and is survived by his son Donald, daughter-in-law Jane, grandchildren: Amanda and Daniel and very dear friend Ernestine Koven. He lived his life to the fullest, always taking pleasure helping others in whatever way he could. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 1:00 pm in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Duncan, BC. Rev. Gordon Payne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
