LOWE, MURRAY
Born December 28, 1913 at Hespro, Alberta. Passed away May 4, 2007 at Ladysmith Hospital, aged 93 years. Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Lauretta (Retta) in 1996 and by son's-in-law Rusty Long and Neil Savard. Survived by his children, son Allan (Arlene), daughters Delorus, Peggy (Norman) and Connie. 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, sisters Jean and Ruth and many nieces and nephews. Murray was a long-time resident of the Diamond area of Ladysmith, being an independent carpenter and a millworker until his retirement in 1978. He and Retta enjoyed many years traveling and camping in their motorhome. Murray spent the last few months at Seaside Lodge where he was very happy. The family would like to thank Brent and Wendy Couwenberg for the warmth and care they offered Dad. The family would also like to thank Dr. Laing and all the nursing staff at Ladysmith Hospital for their kind attention to their dad. At Murray's request no formal service will be held. A private family gathering will be observed at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated. You will be missed very much Dad, Rest in Peace.
