MILMORE, N. Doreen "Jiggs"
Born in Victoria August 30, 1920. Died March 24, 2008 at Chemainus Health Care. The 2nd of 8 children born to RHL MacDowell and Nellie Munn. Predeceased by her loving husband Jack (April 17, 2004); sister Norah; and brother Michael. She is survived by her sisters Maire, Joan and Ann; brothers John and Robin; Joan (Arne) Eggen, Bruce (Natasha) Eggen, Michael (Marisa) Eggen, Kathy (Ray) MacRae, Kris MacRae, and great-grandson Jack MacRae. Doreen graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Victoria. She married Jack on August 16, 1946 and they lived in Chemainus and Saltair. Jiggs and Jack travelled extensively for skiing, work and enjoyment. Her grandsons and great-grandson were the light of her life. No service by request.
