born in Ladysmith, British Columbia on July 10, 1953, passed away in her sleep Sunday, July 17, 2005. She was surrounded by her loving family while camping at her favourite place, “the farm”. She will be greatly missed by her husband Vernon, daughter Angela, sons Jesse (Erin) and Scott (Emily) Gamble along with her three beautiful grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jaiden and Michael. She will also be dearly missed by all of her numerous family members and all those that she has touched in the community.
Friday evening from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm there was a viewing at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo, B.C. There was a service and tea held at St. Mary’s Church, 1135 4th Avenue, Ladysmith, B.C. on Saturday July 23, 2005 at 1:00 pm, followed by a burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. The family held a potluck celebration of life at Mountainaire Campground later that evening. Memories were shared around the campfire.
