HENSTRIDGE, Norman Wallace
March, 25 1936 - July 15th, 2013
A cherished husband, father, brother, and grampa Norm (Norman) Henstridge passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in NRGH on July 15, 2013.
Norm will always be remembered by his friends and family as being the very best storyteller. He had this amazing ability to warm your heart and make you smile with his funny jokes and silly songs. He had such a loving heart, and a wonderful sense of humour that will be greatly missed. He loved to travel in his RV, but fishing and reading were his true passions.
“Gramps” adored his grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. He met his true love “Peggy” in Ladysmith B.C., where they spent 50 years of marriage together. Peggy was his sweetie, and his heart was broken without her.
Norm was predeceased by his parents Phil and Dorothy, wife Peggy, and sister Ardele. Norm leaves to mourn his sisters Gail and Shireen; brother Earl; two children Norma (Cal) and Richard (Josee) and four grandkids Brayden, Alison, Kyla, and Meaghan.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Thank you to all the special friends that were a big part of dads life.
