Mr. Paul Karpenko passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2004 in Nanaimo, B.C. Paul was born at Odessa, Ukraine on March 16, 1927, emigrated to Canada in 1947, working and living throughout the country, finally settling and living in Ladysmith for the past ten years.
Paul was a member of the Boilermakers Local 359 for fifty-two years. Paul was predeceased by his wife Shirley on September 17, 2002. His cremation took place on October 8, 2004.
