Passed away of cancer on January 27, 2005 in Duncan, BC. Pers was born on January 24, 1928 in Provost, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents and her brothers Roger, Dick and John.
She is survived by her best friend and confidant George McDermid, her children: Judy (Jack Cloke), Brenda (John Carmichael), Bev (Rick Wood), Ray (Karen Sutherland), Ken (Lisa Sutherland), Laura (Scott McDonald), Ron, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her sisters Margaret, Ida and Lyn.
We will all miss her dearly. She was a very special lady and a wonderful Mom. Pers’ love, kindness and generosity of heart will be a fond memory for all of us who knew her.
As per her wishes, there will be no Memorial Services or Tea.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
