Phillip A. NORTON

It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Phillip A. Norton in Nanaimo, BC, on November 25, 2005. Born in Stewart, BC, March 7, 1953. As a child Phil lived for a time in Kitimat, and spend many years in Prince Rupert, BC, before moving his family to Nanaimo. He was well known by many for his kindness, generosity and humor, and will be dearly missed. Survived by his wife Darlene, daughter Jennifer, stepson Clayton (of Nanaimo), his first wife Kathy McKeown and daughter Kimberly, son Michael and daughter Christine (husband Mark), and granddaughter Haley, daughter Nadine and granddaughter Kierra, his mother Ruby Sim, brothers: Robert (Jane) Norton & Family, Donald (Hilda) Norton and family, cousin Sharon Holden and family., A celebration of Phil's life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm in Telford's Memorial Centre, 595 Townsite Road, Nanaimo, BC. All are welcome, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
