Peacefully, in Chemainus Health Care Centre on March 30, 2003. Born in Chorley, England July 2, 1903, immigrated to Canada in 1906. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Henry (Harry) 1971, her son John Clayton 1969 and daughter-in-law Bernice, grandson Frank David 1979, survived by 2 sons: William (Barbara) and Norman (Sheila) grandcildren: Richard, Dolores, Larry, Lorne, Harry, Michael, Gordie, Douglas, Debra, Ian and Andy, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters: Nellie Thom and Jean Gilmore, numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. P. Manhas and the staff at Chemainus Health Care Centre for their kindness and caring. Funeral Service on Thursday., April 3, 2003 at 11:00 am in Telfords Mortuary Chapel, 112 French Street, Ladysmith, B.C., Rev. Brian Wood officiating. Interment to follow in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Memorial Services.
